It was another treadmill run this morning with many of our neighborhood's sidewalks not cleared off. The real bad news is that two to five more inches of snow are coming this afternoon and tonight. Ugh! Today's training was five minutes of walking, three minutes of running, five minutes of walking, three minutes of running and ending with another five minutes of walking. At the two kilometer marker I was running at a pace of 4:59 a kilometer By the time this twelve week program is over I am scheduled to run 30 minutes and I hope to run the entire thing at that pace equally a 6 kilometer run. I can live with that!
Not a bad morning run. I am still getting anxious to run for a longer period of time and for a longer distance. But this is for the best... its for my long term abilities when it comes to running. Slow and steady wins the race right?
