At least it is for me. I was out pounding the pavement a little after seven this morning for a three mile run followed by 6 x 100 meter strides. A decent Tuesday workout in this third week of Nike+ 5k training.
The first .15 miles or so is me walking and warming up which took just under five minutes to complete.
You can see on the map with RunKeeper that I completed 3.04 miles in 31:37 for an average pace of 10:24 per mile. Miles one and two were run in a pace of 10:26 while the third and final mile was at 10 minutes even. So another negative split in today's workout. This is a good sign as it means that I am capable of more if race day was right around the corner.
After the three miles I did six 100 meter strides in which you can see on this chart from Nike+:
You can obviously see the sharp jumps up and down displaying the sprinting that is happening for 100 meters and then about 25 meters of walking. These are supposed to help with stamina and speed... so we will see.
