Not quite a four

Well my Nike+ told me it was four (and I forgot that I had walked a tenth of a mile to begin with) and the Runkeeper ended up at 3.95. So I didn't quite get in four full miles but I had to do 8 x 100 meter strides afterwards. That should make up for it.

Here is the Nike+ of the run:

And the strides:

I ran these strides in a pace of 4:35 per kilometer upwards of 5:20 per kilometer. Needless to say these must get faster as well. But after a near four mile run I will take them at this point in the training. The real tests will start coming in November to see if I am shaving off enough time to reach my goal for my first marathon.

Here is the map:

And the splits:

Mile 1 10:44
Mile 2 10:27
Mile 3 10:48
Mile 4 10:40 (pace, another five hundredths of a mile and I would have completed the last mile in that time)

I will just keep plugging away!
